Founded in 2020 by Selvin Reyes, Tents and Things was born from a simple idea: to make everyone’s event come to life starting from the ground up in a friendly, professional, but more importantly in a safely manner. Having worked in Texas and California for a number of different bounce house rentals and event rental companies I hold each set up to the highest of standards and so does my team. We started out with just a few tables & chairs, now we’re one of San Diego’s highest rated and most trusted party & event rental company. Today we continue to run Tents & Things with the same dedication and passion that made all this possible in the first place.

Your family’s safety and good time are at the center of everything we do. We fully comply with all instruction and regulations set by our tent manufacturer, Aztec tents one of the leading tents manufactures in the U.S. as well as all regulations set by the San Diego Fire Marshall and State of CA. We are fully insured.
Commercial Quality, Cleanliness, and Service
We believe that a great experience starts with a clean and well-maintained rental. We have a dedicated full-time cleaning crew to sanitize after each rental, so it arrives at your event in an untouched condition. To keep our rental equipment fresh and top-quality, we replace our equipment every two-three year.

While Tents & Things focuses a lot on weddings, ceremonies, church, and cooperate parties we also have rental equipment for small parties and the kids. We offer a large selection of GIANT lawn games and carnival games as well as concession machine rentals that are a hit with EVERYONE!
Policies and Information
Booking Your Party
We offer easy online booking for your convenience. However, we still love talking to you guys personally! If you need help choosing the best tent or any other rental equipment for your event, just give us a call, text us, or email us! Whatever works best for you! We’re happy to work with you one-on-one to ensure you have the best possible experience.
- Payment Methods: We accept all major credit and debit cards. For schools and churches, we accept checks and purchase orders.
- Delivery & Pickup: For residential setups, we typically deliver between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. and pick up after your event ends. For public or non-residential setups, we’ll coordinate with you personally to ensure someone is present for drop-off and pickup.
Cancellation & Refunds
We understand that plans can change. While deposits are non-refundable, if you need to cancel, we will issue a raincheck for your deposit that’s good for one year. In the event of unsafe weather, we reserve the right to cancel the rental and will either refund you in full or allow you to choose an alternate date. Any items canceled on the day of delivery are non-refundable and will be charged at 100%.
