Every Tents and Things rental includes up to 24 hours of use at the quoted price. That applies to tents, tables, chairs, linens, concession machines and lawn games. Many San Diego rental companies only include about 4 hours for a similar price, so you can set up early and clean up without rushing.

Tents and Things delivers and picks up every order, and every tent rental includes professional setup and takedown. Table and chair setup is an add-on: choose the Table and Chair Set Up Service at checkout or tell our office. Our crew picks everything up after your event.

Tent size depends on guest count and seating style. At round tables, a 20x20 tent seats about 33 guests, a 20x30 about 50 and a 20x40 about 66. Rectangle tables fit about 40, 60 and 80, and a standing cocktail party or rows of chairs fit about 66, 100 and 133. Our tent size calculator adds space for buffets, dance floors and bars and recommends a size for your guest count.

Yes. We follow the manufacturer's instructions on every tent, use 36-inch stakes on grass, and use concrete blocks on concrete or asphalt. We follow tent and special event guidelines under the International Fire Code as amended by the State of California and the City of San Diego.

Yes. Every tent, table, chair and machine is cleaned with commercial-grade products using a multi-step process after each rental, so it arrives clean and ready for your guests.

Yes. Tents and Things supplies weddings, corporate events and picnics, quinceañeras, graduation parties, school carnivals, church festivals, fundraisers and community events across San Diego County, as well as backyard birthday parties.

Yes. You can reschedule to a new date with no change fees. If you cancel before delivery, the deposit is non-refundable, but we issue a raincheck valid for one year. If you paid more than the deposit, you can take a refund of the amount above the deposit minus a 5% restocking fee, or a raincheck for 100% of what you paid.
